More Learning
March 11, 2008 – 4:23 pmWell it looks as though the new site is working. I just can’t seem to get it to look the way I want. There are many pre-made templates out there and some are real close to what I am looking for. I just don’t know how to change the picture or some crazy text that is on the template. On top of everything else that I am trying to learn, it looks like I am going to have to learn some HTML code as well. If anybody has any suggestions on some basic code, like how to remove and insert your own pictures into headings and the like, I would GREATLY appreciate it.

What kind of help with HTML do you need? I can probably walk you through some basics. HTML is *very* simple.
If you want walk through some tutorials at w3schools.com. They are very nice and simple.

Thanks CP I will try that. I just need to get the fundamentals, I guess. I just want to be able to design my blog layout the way that I want instead of using templates.

Wordpress I believe is PHP code, I dunno if HTML will help you much. PHP basically builds on HTML so it wouldn’t be a bad thing to learn anyways. Wordpress is a widely used platform I would be willing to bet there is a forum somewhere filled with guys that can tell you how to do what you want.
