More travel time
June 29, 2008 – 4:13 amI am done with the 2 week training coarse in Tulsa, OK. After a very brief stay in Mobile, just to pick up some stuff and kiss the wife, I am back on the road to Charleston, SC.
I grabbed a very modest selection of hand tools. Hopefully I can continue my woodworking. If not I guess I will have to create a new blog.
I know the blog entries have been very weak. Sorry for that. Been extremely busy. Things should start to settle down in a couple of weeks. By then I hope to have a semi-permanent place to live.
Until then,
Eric

So Eric, are you getting sick of hotel rooms yet?
When I worked for FedEx, I was an international specialist among other things, and had to travel way too much. At first, it was great ’cause I got to eat awesome food all the time and see a lot of the country, including Memphis. Man that place has got huge cockroaches. But, I got sick of hotels and now I hate to travel. Btw, I finally started a blog. We’ll see how good I am at posting regularly.

Hey Vic,
I am staying in one of those “weekly rate” hotels at the moment. I can’t wait to get out of here. I have already started looking at apartments but I really haven’t had time to look at the inside of them ’cause they are closed when I get off work. I plan to see some this weekend with the 3 day’er coming up.

Happy Hunting, Eric. This one guy (can’t even remember who) actually lived in a “weekly rate” place for quite a while. I do remember the reason. It had a small kitchenette, a maid, and wasn’t much different in rent. He was kinda like Earl without the brother or really hot maid. Try to enjoy the 4th.
